Meet the H&H team
We have a wonderful mix of people on our team - all focussed on our Vision of Brand Brilliance. What we never do is blend into the background; everything we do is memorable and distinctive to our style. We have an adventurous spirit which keeps us fresh and exciting. We are always looking for new and better ways of doing things. And we’re not afraid to say what’s on our mind, to express our ideas and opinions boldly. We are confident and prepared to stand up for the things that are important to us.

Helen our MD
Helen’s the strategy and people person. Belbin wise she is a Chairman – which means that she co-ordinates and leads the team. She helps our clients develop their brand vision and then to articulate this into meaningful brand messaging and positioning. She also helps clients develop their people strategy so that they have the skills, knowledge and attitudes to be able to deliver on the brand promise. She spends a lot of time with the flip chart, and when not doing strategy or people stuff she sings, studies, runs and drinks fruity tea.
Hannah our Creative Director
Hannah is our ideas person. Not surprisingly then that her Belbin team role is the Plant. Her creative thinking process knows no bounds – from green toads to forklift trucks, Hannah always pulls out a fantastic and creative way to make brands look great. She also advises clients on marketing strategy and visual presentation. Hannah spends a lot of time twittering, and when not being entirely creative, although she is always throwing ideas about – she bikes, makes silver jewellery and drinks water (just in case her personal trainer is reading this).

Matt our Senior Designer
Matt is our rock. As well as creating brilliant design he carries heavy boxes, tells us to keep it real, challenges our thinking and generally keeps everything going when no one else is around. Belbin wise, Matt is a mix between Plant and Shaper. He is particularly skilled in developing great logos and web design. He spends a lot of time with his Mac, and when not being a rock he likes to play guitar and drinks vodka (only at the weekends though!).

Suzy our Office Angel
Suzy is our sorter; thank heavens that her Belbin role is Implementer. Whatever needs to be done to keep the engine going – Suzy does it. As the office angel, she takes on all those necessary but time consuming things like accounts, HR, admin, phone calls – everything really. This gives us the time and space to focus on delivering top notch client work. Suzy spends a lot of time with Excel Spreadsheets, and when not doing all the office stuff walks with her Westies and drinks strong coffee.

Jon Dewey our Copy Writer
Jon is our wordsmith and articulator and raises our collective intelligence quota considerably. He helps our clients to find the right words to communicate their messages effectively with customers, investors and employees. No matter the media – his words generate marketing and brand communications that engage, persuade and inspire. When he is not thumbing through a thesaurus (which he does for fun) Jon likes to run and drinks sparkling elderberry.

Trish Patton
Trish is our mum, in the nicest possible way. She nurtures and cares for the team - but more importantly nurtures and cares for our clients too. She is a highly skilled trainer and coach and facilitates on our people development projects – particularly coaching and employee engagement. When not engaging Trish loves to cycle around Beverley seeking out the best cake shops washed down by copious amounts of tea.

Gary Major
Gary is our technical expert – and gives Jon a run for his money on the IQ front. He works with clients to establish what they want to achieve from their website and advises them on the best way to do this. He also manages all our own IT systems, and is the guy who asks – ‘have you tried switching it off and on again?’. When not being all technical, Gary is an avid Hull City fan and a newly converted road bike supremo. He drinks whatever is available.

Joe Cox
Joe is our graduate, fresh out of University with a Graphic Design degree. He amazes us with original ideas and is always challenging our thinking. Joe is in a band called ‘Weird Ribs’.

Deborah Dyson
Debs is our support and helps the H&H team with strategy development and delivering results. As a final year degree student, it’s no surprise then that she is something of a learner and enjoys a good challenge. When she isn’t at H&H or with her head stuck in a book at the Library, Deborah writes, enjoys being creative and drinks orange juice (in her attempt to be a responsible student).
